Brenda graduated from Northwest University with a BA in Church Music. She has previously taught at two other Christian schools as well as homeschooled her own children for 9 years before joining the staff at ICA in January 2009. She currently teaches one of the 5th-6th split classes as well as music for the K-6th grades.

Barbara is married to Matt Chambers, Pastor of South Whidbey Assembly of God church. They have 5 children and 1 grandchild. They have lived and served on Whidbey for over 20 years. Barbara is currently the high school homeroom teacher. She also teaches junior high classes.
