Characteristics of High School Students and Teaching Methods
Students at the high school level tend to be very responsible and independent workers. They have a desire to express their own ideas and feelings and are interested in fairness and justice. At this stage they are very concerned about current events.
Teachers give the students more responsibility at this level. This may include working with younger students, doing research projects, and making oral presentations.
Our high school students understand what a worldview is and why it is important. To demonstrate this knowledge they must give written and oral presentations on this subject.
