There is plenty of green floating around school today, but it’s a dangerous place to be without it! Our preK and kindergarten classes tracked leprechauns today, as you can see in the photos below. It sounds like they didn’t actually see the little green guys, but they did eventually locate the fabled pot-of-gold!
Reports are coming across my desk recently documenting random acts of kindness performed on unsuspecting individuals. We still have two weeks to get those personal quests for 3rd quarter turned in!
Speaking of RAK, we received a generous donation from local realtor who, as far as I am aware, is not connected to the school. How fun it was to open a check with “for something you need” written in the memo! Recently we’ve been reviewing our disaster preparedness plan and will be using the money to help purchase walkie talkies for our classroom emergency buckets. BTW: the realtor’s name is Marchele Hatchner. If you know her you may want to tell her thank you!
If you have time, stop by the lunchroom this Friday at drop-off time for a little coffee and chat. It’s a great time to meet some other ICA parents.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Brenda
