Congratulations to ICA student, Drake, for taking 5th place after 11 rounds in the Regional Scripps Spelling Bee this past Saturday! In addition, he scored 100% on the vocabulary portion of the bee; no small accomplishment!
Kudos as well to Molly Q for her lead role in the Whidbey Children’s Theater’s production of Inside Frampton. You can still see her, Molly M and Sierra (tech crew) display their theatrical skills this Friday or Saturday at 7 pm or Sunday at 2 pm.
Thank you to those who have already completed the re-enrollment process. Open enrollment has begun and we have had several inquiries already from families who are considering enrollment for next year. If you are planning to return to ICA in the fall, you may want to re-enroll sooner rather than later to be sure you get your space – especially in the elementary grades.
History Fair is just a week away. I know that our 2nd-10th grade students have been working diligently on their presentations. Hopefully you will plan to come and see their exhibits next Tuesday at 6:30 pm.
Thank you for buying pies! The Student Council made about $230 from their sale.
More news in the attached MT document!
Blessings,
Brenda
