Field Trip Transportation: Island Transit, walking or the school van
Space Availability: Only 15 spaces per camp
Camps for this age group are based on weekly themes. Campers will be going on one field trip per week. Join us for one week, a few weeks or all of them.
June 17-21 Fun Factor Field Trip: Langley Library/Hiking Trails
School’s out! Ready for some summer fun? Let’s put up our tents, make smores, go hiking, and create
some great summer memories with our friends.
June 24-28 Amazing Race Field Trip: Downtown Langley
Campers will race around the world (downtown Langley) in challenging competition with other teams.
They will find clues and maybe some detours and road blocks along the way.
July 1-5 Stars and Stripes (Closed July 4th) Field Trip: Celebrate America
Help us celebrate our country’s freedom as we make a camp Declaration of Independence, play games,
relay events, watermelon eating contests, tug of war, egg toss, etc. We will visit Celebrate America for
face painting and bounce house adventures.
July 8-12 Who Dunnit? Field Trip: Mona's Chocolates
Have you ever wanted to be a forensic scientist? Join us this week as you try to find out which of the
four suspects was the “barefooted burglar”. We will be learning about fingerprinting, powder analysis,
teeth impressions, and footprints. Can you figure out who dunnit?
July 15-19 Art Rageous Field Trip: Callahan's Firehouse*
It's time to discover your creative side! A variety of art forms will be used like clay, painting, tissue paper, drawing, recycled art, collages, etc. A trip to Callahan's Firehouse to do glass blowing will top it off!
July 22-26 Latin Camp Field Trip: Paint Escape*/Castle Park
Come on an exciting adventure to learn about the Ancient Roman’s and their Latin language. Each
day campers will explore the culture of Rome through a variety of fun, hands-on activities such as
creating edible mosaics and making puppets. Conversational Latin sayings will also be introduced.
We will conclude the week with a Roman banquet and fashion show at Castle Park.
July 29-Aug. 2 Backyard Bugs Field Trip: Hiking Trails
Bugs, bugs, I like bugs! We love to find bugs! We'll go hunting for bugs at our location and on hiking trails and identify what we find. We will do bug crafts and games. Come join us for a creepy, crawly adventure.
Aug. 5-9 Splash Kingdom Field Trip: Oak Harbor Pool*
Grab your goggles and suntan lotion and join us for the best water week in town. It’s a place where fun
never ends. Expect to get yourself pretty wet. Time to splash and jump in sprinklers, slip n’ slides,
pools, oceans, etc. Come along we’ll show you the way!
Aug. 12-16 Country Fair Field Trip: Island County Fair*
Join us for a unique opportunity to make veggie critters to enter in the Island County Fair. We’ll have
our own country fair at camp that will include horse stick races, tractor races, lego building contests, a
cupcake walk, pie-eating contest, coloring contests and more.
Aug. 19-23 Storytellers Field Trips: Act II Books and Puppets/
Alpacca Farm
Everyone loves to tell stories especially at campfires. Campers will be given a specific subject for their
story and throughout the week they will use their imagination to create a story either through
photography, drama, puppets, writing or illustrating.
Aug. 26-30 Last Blast Field Trip: Whidbey Island Ice Cream Tour
One last time to have some summer fun! Make a rocket and blast it off into the sky. Take a factory tour
and see how the famous Whidbey Island ice cream bars are made. All of your favorite camp adventures
will be packed into this week for one last amazing, incredible blast of fun!
Camp Deposit (to reserve a place): $50 non-refundable fee (deposit is applied to camp cost)
Camp Cost: $135 per week
Extended Camp Cost: An additional $50 per week for the morning and $100 per week for the afternoon
Drop-ins: $30/day if space permits
Payments: Payments are due on the 1st of the month. Credit will not be given for non-attendance or illness.
