The headliners for today are...
New emergency notification system. We have recently subscribed to a service that will allow us to contact our ICA families via text or phone message with school announcements. The primary use of this will be to provide notification in case of unscheduled school closures such as weather or power outages.
In the event of a school closure, whether it is first thing in the morning or during the school day, the new system will be able to call all of our numbers simultaneously. So in the event of a closure, you can get the information in the following ways:
If you would also like to be a part of a group that receives text message reminders of special events and half days, please contact the office or simply respond to this email and we will put you on that list.
This is a good opportunity to remind you that if you have questions about most school-related procedures, it’s likely that it can be found in the Family Handbook that you received in the August welcome email or when you registered for school. It is also available under the “for Parents” tab on our school website and on our Facebook group page. Of course we always love to connect with you personally as well if you would like to call us with your question.
