Three headliners items today and one reminder:
  1.  CTP test scores were sent home with students in grades 2-10 today.  (Check the backpack :-).  Overall I was encouraged by our scores this year.  We are moving in the right direction!  They aren’t the definitive word on each student, but just a piece of the whole picture that helps us monitor the over-all health and progress of our school.    I’ve attached parent guides to this email that help to interpret the report you received.  If you have questions or concerns, please ask your student’s teacher or me.   We would be glad to to talk with you.
  2.  Yearbooks are in!  We have a limited supply as we didn’t sell all we ordered last year, so you may want to get yours ASAP.  They are $15 and can be purchased in the office.
  3. House Gratius (blue house) has earned the title of House of Distinction for 2015-2016!  They will be enjoying their own field trip this Friday at the Blue Fox Drive In on the go-carts and arcade with a side-trip to Fort Casey.  If your student is in this house, you recieved a permission slip via email last Friday.  No lunch needed unless the student has special dietary concerns.  Please let Mrs. Ohme at the office know if you would like a paper copy.
  • One more reminder.  There will be no pm bus service tomorrow, June 8th.
Once again, here is the final-day-of-school schedule:

8:45 - school start time as usual
9:00(ish)- 6th grade's official "Walking the Hall" across to the secondary side, and welcomed by the Junior High/High School class tunnel.
10:00 - Kindergarten Graduation
10:30(ish)  Fourth Quarter awards and recognition
11:15(ish)  High School Graduation
11:45 Year End Slide Show
12:15 Dismissal - Students may leave following the program if their parents are in attendance, otherwise usual half day dismissal time.  No bus service.

Featuring the ICA Band!

Lots more in the attached MT document.  You may also want to check out our Facebook group for some wonderful photos of the many field trips that are taking place this week!

We're in the final stretch!

Blessings

Brenda
